Roy Glenn has been entertaining people for most of his life! As a professional musician Roy has entertained all ages! From the weddings and the private parties to the small town festivals or the armed forces who protect our great country, he has proven time and time again that he is a true professional! If you need an entertainer who will do what he promises then Roy Glenn is the one for you or your event! With a proven track record he has been a member of GloryHounds Band for several years. He began his career with Jimbo Thornton and the Peachtree Posse Band and for many years performed with Jimbo and Jetstream. He has entertained all over the United States and Europe, entertaining our troops stationed at various loacations around the world on the Armed Forces Entertainment circuit. Most recently he has been entertaining with his band, Roy Glenn and the GloryHound Band. He also provides entertainment with his acoustic act and performs with his friend Kerry Elliott in their acoustic duo, which just shows how remarkably talented he really is!
Roy Glenn is a native Atlantan. Born and raised in the great south. He developed a love for music at an early age, coming from a musical family. His father is also a guitarist and singer and many of his relatives are also 'pickers'! His Grandmother played fiddle, guitar, banjo and the piano. Growing up he came to love the old songs of Hank Williams, Sr. and classic country and folk to bluegrass.
He is most at home while he is on stage entertaining! Roy's main goal is to make everyone who hears his music smile! Roy has an act for any occasion! Playing at weddings, clubs, private parties, corporate events, town festivals and any other celebrations, he is sure to please everyone!
